Zoom lens
If anyone has a solid recommendation for a spectacular zoom lens for a Nikon D40, I would appreciate it. I had difficulty shooting pics in marshland area because the zoom is limited to 25'. Essentially, the color range is good, but elements like granite detail, birds, nests, are not sharp or up close. Thanks!

You didn't say what lens you currently have... some telephotos can get pretty expensive... depending...
