Final Week of Classes

Hi Everyone....

This is the last week of classes... I just called the registrar's office and was told that the absolute final deadline for posting grades will be Thursday morning.  So please  have all of your work complete by Wednesday night at midnight.  I'll get started grading first thing in the morning on Thursday.  

I hope you enjoyed this class in that it offered a break from the usual grind of and the more usual class with readings, papers and tests to take.  I have seen so much great work from all of you and have  gotten a sense that it was really a revelation for you to be to be able to get out and look at light and design in a new way.

Have a great Christmas holiday!  Hopefully I'll see you sometime in the near future in another class.  Take care!

Darkness is always in the background but there is ever present color waiting to burst out. It remains in darkness company. Go for it when time permits.

this little girl doesn't shy from a camera as I said before the sight of a camera she is ready to scream. I love this one. I will save to my screensaver.

This is my daughter. Can't you tell she is ready to pose and the sight of a camera. She was a willing participant. No problem there

Used the water background, however, I did not like the pyramid in the background and took forever to take it out. I find that this actually takes a longer time to edit than a photo.

Week 7 Surrealism Assignment

I found this to be my least favorite assignment of all. I rather use my camera and capture the moment than create it from different items. This is probably great if you are intoxicated among other things.
Anyway, I had to use the crazy side of my brain for this one. What I was trying to capture on this is some type of portal that is sucking everything around it inwards. Hope you can see that without having to read this.

So, since this has taken me days to figure out the paint application to save this, this is as good as its going to get right now. I tried to resize it so you didn't have to see all the extras but it is not working for me. Feel free to lend me some advice!
