Before taking this class, I never stopped to admire my surroundings. Now, everywhere I go, I'm on the lookout for the perfect shot. I had a hard time picking from the many that I took. The two attached are my favorite. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Thanks to this class, I no longer take the beauty of my surroundings for granted. Enjoy life and always look for the beauty in everything you see and do. I’ll be posting more on Fotothing for your review and comments.

Michael, I love both shots. I love the angle in the first and the fact that you left the color in. Conversely, I think it adds a great deal of character to the second shot to take the color out. Nice eyes. I feel the same way about this class. I'm bummed if I leave the house wihout my camera, and I miss a great shot.
Michael, these are awesome. You have an eye for the linear, and for the way shapes mirror eachother.
the top shot is far stronger than the bottom one mostly due to it being an enclosed environment without sky peeking through and not adding anything to the image.

I took your recommendation and increased the saturation and it definitely looks much better. The first one is now the revised one.
