Tried a few different type of self portraits and found this one was the one I like the most.
Thanks,
Michael
Jerry,
I made the changes you suggested. I do like it better. Hi all, hope you like the change also. The darker one is the revised. 10-31-08

That is so awesome how you have the reflections of yourself behind you. I absolutely love it! Good job.
Michael, how did you get 2 reflections behind you? Where were the mirrors placed. I love all your shots. They are excellent! There doesn't seem to be any manipulation with an editing porgram. They are just pure shots, which I'm trying to become batter at.
I like the regression toward infinity... To improve the image even more, bring up the blacks a bit using levels in Photoshop or the shadow slider in Picasa.
The mirrors were in my laundry room and did not have to move them. The hard part is trying to set up the tripod and getting all the reflections without having the camera in the picture.
Jerry, I will try this on Picasa after my class tonight and see how it looks. This is the main reason I took the class. Can't improve without having someone as experienced as in your level and offcourse the group with their suggestions and being able to feed off each other.
Thanks everyone
I like this shot a lot too!! Very creativly done!!
Hi Michael,
Yes... have a bottom end to the photo is much better... kind of like having better speakers to hear the bass on....
Nicely done! Got your message on my self-portrait post - I posted my fotothing link a few days ago and already friended you :)
